I am in the best shape of my life at 50. My motto is "kicking mine to kick yours." I don't believe in age or circumstances determining your health and fitness. Feeling good is a choice you can make every day. 

It was my goal to compete until I was 50. This year was my most successful year with 3 Top 5 finishes. I'm glad I didn't give up and I know I still haven't reached my peak. The moral of this is don't quit too soon or let your age dictate what you can do. There is still a whole lot of fire left in this girl, going after my dreams full force has made me feel ageless. 

During the eleven years that I've competed I earned the following titles: 2-time Ms. Fitness Great Lakes, 2-Time Ms. Fitness Indiana, 2-Time Ms. Fitness Kentucky, and Ms. Fitness International Legacy Masters Champion. I use the valuable experience that I have learned through competing to help others achieve their ultimate goals and peak performance.

I am very passionate about and have had amazing success through ChickFit classes helping others to achieve their weight loss and fitness goals! Besides writing my own column "Fit over Forty" for Ms. Fitness magazine for the last ten years I have written several magazine articles and cover stories including: Suzanne Somers, Dara Torres, Kim Dolan Leto, Nicole Moneer Guerrero, Nikki Crawford, basketball super star Nancy Lieberman, and numerous others.
As a fitness expert I collaborated on the fitness portion of the book “Fat Flush for Life” with mentor and New York Times Best Selling author Ann Louise Gittleman. “Fat Flush For Life” was listed in Time magazine as one of the top ten diet books for 2009. For the last five years I have also been The Fitness Moderator at and the Fitness Pro on Ann Louise Gittleman’s infamous “Cruise to Lose”. 

I have made various fitness video and TV appearances on Fox - The Mike and Juliet Show, Channel 9 News with Carol Williams, Channel 12 News with Liz Bonis, Fox Sports, ESPN, The Deceptive Diet Plan Video, and the Fat Flush infomercial.

I have coordinated numerous group fitness programs at local health clubs and conducted personal training for the last 27 years.  Now, I run my own fitness organization specifically devoted to fulfilling the needs of women. After spending time with women from all walks of life I have developed my own philosophies on what works and what doesn't. I have had many years of experience dealing with women of all ages and fitness levels.  There are no limits to the results you can achieve through my hands on approach and group fitness coaching style.

I keep in touch with the latest industry trends in fitness to keep my training and teaching fresh and current.  I am a recent graduate of The Integrative School of Nutrition. I am certified in the following: AFAA Personal Training, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, Yogafit Level 1-5 Instructor, Plyo-Glide, POSE method running, Roadrunner’s of America running. AFAA Step Aerobics, Spinning, Zumba, S.T.R.I.D.E., Hip Hop Hustle, Pi-Yo, Turbo Kick, AEA Water Aerobics, SCW Mat Pilates, Kickboxing, and Bootcamp.

I wish to inspire women not to settle for status quo. Age is just a number. Life is about reaching, breathing, and living to your fullest potential. I want to help women learn to define themselves, and not be defined by society's norms.  Let's put a new face on forty and fifty! “My enthusiasm for fitness is contagious! Catch it!!!”
